Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was a member and the captain of the 2012 Fierce Five as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012, she was awarded gold at the team events as well as the floor exercise. For the balance beam, Raisman was awarded a bronze. She became the first American gymnast at the Olympics to win the most medals. The gold medal was hers for team in the 2016 Olympics, which also made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Silver medals were also awarded for the all-around competition as well as floor workouts. Between the two Olympics she took off from competitive gymnastics for three years. Also, she has been a member two gold medal winning world championship teams. She learned gymnastics from the age two, and her most loved activity is Floor Exercise. Aly has a strong support for her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who passed away from cancer. She would like to become fashion-forward and increase the line of socks and leotards in the coming years. Fierce is a book that she plans to release later in the year.
